Description
Vegetation Monitoring at Canelo Preserve , June 1, 2, 8, 9. 2026 (May participate one or more days)
Help with post-fire vegetation measurements at beautiful Canelo Preserve (near Elgin, AZ).
Monitor alongside TNC’s Conservation Ecologist.
Monitoring will be all-day depending on temperature. Elevation 5000 ft.
Terrain can be lumpy. Long pants recommended; bring water, hat, sunscreen, lunch, snacks.
Can meet at preserve (directions will be provided) to begin monitoring at 9 a.m. or carpool from Tucson leaving at 8 a.m.
