    Description

    Pre-Med Gap Year Students

    Hackensack Meridian Hospice is now accepting volunteers taking a gap year before medical school or students who are looking for a healthcare learning experience. Volunteers gain valuable healthcare experience by providing bedside companionship to patients.

    Hackensack Meridian Hospice provides service to patients primarily in their homes; therefore, reliable transportation is required. Visits are typically 1-2 hours once a week based on your availability. Students must be available during the academic year. References will be provided after completing 50 hours of service.
