    Description

    Become A Buddy!

Miracle League of San Diego is a non-profit that provides individuals with special needs the opportunity to play baseball in an organized league. We aim to pair every athlete with a Buddy who helps them to compete to the best of their ability. No baseball or special needs experience is needed. Many athletes just need a hand to hold while they run around the bases and maybe play catch while on defense. Games are played on a rubberized field, allowing athletes of all mobility levels to compete. Games are only about an hour long, (2 full innings), on Saturdays only, for an 11 week season. We welcome full time and part time Buddy commitments as well. We provide paperwork for 20 hours of community service for those who need it.
