Description
Join us on the second Friday of each month, from 1PM-2PM EST in virtually volunteering to update our database of food programs.
In the session you'll receive background information, training and support to verify and update listings of food pantries, soup kitchens and SNAP/WIC offices around the country. This information is used to direct callers to our Hunger Hotline to resources. You'll be given unique listings to check, by calling the number and doing web-based research. You'll need a computer, phone and pen and paper for the task.
We encourage you to review the task guide in advance here. Nearer the time, you'll receive a zoom link to the session. NOTE- Time of session is listed in Eastern Time.
