Use your editing skills to create lasting memories for families experiencing the loss of a baby.
Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (NILMDTS) is seeking compassionate Digital Retouch Artist volunteers to provide professional editing services for remembrance photography sessions. Though this role happens behind the scenes, the impact is immeasurable. Your work helps create beautiful images that families may cherish for a lifetime.
As a Digital Retouch Artist, you'll use your technical skills and artistic eye to thoughtfully edit remembrance photographs with care and sensitivity.
What You'll Do:
- Professionally edit remembrance images submitted by volunteer photographers, medical providers, or families using Adobe Photoshop
- Perform sensitive and detailed retouching work according to NILMDTS standards
- Complete editing assignments within requested turnaround times
- Maintain image confidentiality and professionalism
- Communicate with staff and volunteers as needed

Qualifications:
- Experience with photo editing and retouching
- Proficiency in editing using Adobe Photoshop

Training & Support
NILMDTS provides:
- Retouching guidelines and standards
- Volunteer support and educational resources
- Ongoing connection to a mission-driven volunteer community
- Adobe Photoshop reimbursement with minimum editing qualifications met
Time Commitment
Assignments are completed remotely and can be accepted based on your availability and schedule. The turnaround time once a session is picked up is 2 weeks. Volunteers and families can submit up to 20 images for retouching.
