Description
The Junior Academic Foundation is seeking motivated and passionate students to serve as Chapter Presidents and establish local chapters in their state or country. This leadership opportunity is ideal for students who are committed to expanding educational access and making a meaningful impact in their communities.
As a Chapter President, you will lead the development of your local chapter by recruiting volunteers, organizing tutoring programs, and connecting students with free academic support. Tutoring can be offered in a variety of subjects based on your community's needs, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, speech and debate, and other academic areas where students may benefit from additional guidance.
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead a Junior Academic Foundation chapter in your local community.
- Recruit and manage volunteer tutors.
- Identify and connect with students who would benefit from free tutoring services.
- Organize tutoring sessions and ensure consistent communication between tutors and students.
- Promote the chapter through schools, community organizations, and social media.
- Work with the Junior Academic Foundation leadership team to share updates and expand your chapter's impact.
