    Language Program Developer - Volunteer

    Are you passionate about global education, cross-cultural learning, and language accessibility?

    Immersed Global is seeking 1-2 dedicated Language Program Developer interns/volunteers to support the development of our global language training programs. You’ll play a key role in helping us build engaging, culturally aware, and accessible resources that equip learners to communicate and connect across borders.

    This is a meaningful opportunity to gain hands-on experience in curriculum design, language education, and intercultural program development — all while contributing to a global mission that empowers underserved communities through world languages and cultural competence.

    📋 Position Details

    • Role: Language Program Developer (Intern/Volunteer)
    • Commitment: Minimum 3–6 hours per week
    • Location: Open to applicants anywhere (remote-friendly)
    • DMV-area (DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia) applicants will receive priority consideration.
    • Age Requirement: 18+

    📘 Responsibilities

    • Assist in designing and developing world language modules (beginner–intermediate level)
    • Research cultural topics and integrate them into language learning materials
    • Create or edit lessons, activities, and visuals to enhance engagement
    • Collaborate with the Language Program Lead to ensure quality, inclusivity, and alignment with Immersed Global’s mission
    • Support in testing and refining learning materials with pilot learners or educators
    • Help identify new opportunities for program growth and cultural partnerships
    • Contribute to the creation and design of innovative educational tools and learning experiences (e.g., interactive kits, games, and activity-based resources) that extend curriculum into engaging, hands-on formats
