    Description

Black Voters Matter Book Club - June 17th

Education is Power! At our bi-monthly book clubs we FIGHT BACK by educating ourselves about our history, current day issues, and ways we can take action. This is not your normal book club. We discuss podcasts, articles, books, tv shows, and movies. Join us in building power through education!

For the June book club, we are celebrating the spirit of Juneteenth by talking about the spaces and places where liberation and revolution exist! This month we are reading "Black Owned: The Revolutionary Life of the Black Bookstore" by Char Adams. It takes a dive into the history of Black owned bookstores and how they served as spaces for resistance and liberation.

Join us for an impactful discussion!
