Position Summary
The High School & College Outreach Coordinator is responsible for building strong partnerships with high schools, colleges, universities, and career centers to recruit talented students into the Apex Talent Initiative Academy and Apex Career Pathways Program. This role plays a key part in expanding our reach and ensuring a steady pipeline of motivated high school juniors/seniors and college students who want real-world professional experience.
Learning Focus Areas
Participants in this role will gain exposure to:
- Develop and maintain relationships with high school principals, counselors, career coordinators, college career services offices, and internship directors.
- Represent Apex at career fairs, college recruitment events, school visits, and virtual information sessions.
- Create and deliver compelling presentations about the Apex Talent Initiative Academy and Apex Career Pathways Program.
- Coordinate with school administrators to promote our no-cost, flexible internship and career readiness opportunities.
- Manage outreach campaigns (email, phone, LinkedIn, and in-person) to high schools and colleges across Georgia and nationally.
- Track partnership metrics, school engagement, and student application pipeline.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition and Administrative teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new Academy participants.
- Stay informed on school calendars, CTE programs, and workforce development initiatives.
- Help organize and host virtual and in-person school partnership events.
