Approx 1-5 hrs per month (flexible, project-based)
Stoop Stories connects New York City neighbors across generations and differences to reduce loneliness and increase compassion and joy. Through documentary stories and community events, we celebrate stoop culture and highlight underrepresented communities.

Who we’re looking for: A tech-savy, detail-oriented volunteer to help us strengthen our internal systems, improve efficiency, and ensure best practices across our tools and platforms. This is a low-commitment, high-impact role perfect for someone who wants to lend their technical skills without a major time commitment.
The ideal candidate has:
- Strong problem-solving and documentation skills
- Experience administering Google Workspace, including Organizational Units, Groups, and permissions best practices
- Familiarity with SAML and SSO (single sign-on) configuration across third-party platforms
- Comfort working with automation/integration tools like Zapier (or similar) to connect calendars and apps
- Experience migrating files and data between personal and organizational accounts
- Strong communication skills and patience explaining technical concepts to a non-technical team
- Self-driven; comfortable working independently on a flexible, as-needed basis
Responsibilites:
- Review and optimize our Google Workspace setup, including Organizational Units, Groups, and permission structures
- Set up SAML-based SSO across our software tools (Asana, Microsoft 365, Monday.com, Wix, Mailchimp, Givebutter, QuickBooks, Adobe, Salesforce) where possible
- Explore and help implement a calendar sync solution (e.g., 2-way sync between Asana and Google Calendar via Zapier or similar)
- Help transfer files from multiple personal (non-domain) Gmail accounts into our shared organizational drive
- Update our Workspace branding with our new logo
- Troubleshoot occasional software setup and functionality issues as they arise
- Recommend improvements to our tech stack and workflows
