    On Snow Coordinator

    Are you looking for an opportunity to work with a dynamic group of individuals dedicated to increasing leadership opportunities for women and individuals in the Snowsports Industry?

    Women of Winter, Inc. is seeking volunteers to serve as On-Snow Coordinators to support all on-Mountain logistics and participant experience during Women of Winter Programs. We are looking for 2 volunteers for Level 1 Certification and 2 volunteers for Advance training/FS1 and CS1 Certification. Intermediate/Advanced Skiers/Snowboarders are required for this position. It is a great opportunity to get to know the Scholarship participants during the programs.

    Role Description:

    Handles all on-snow logistics and communications for advanced programs, including communications and participant success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate with Program Officers and Clinicians for Scholarship Recipients on snow portion of program
    • Manage day-to-day logistics and safety protocol
    • Communicate daily with recipients and Examiners/Clinicians on Schedule
    • Serve as point-of-contact for participants onsite
    • Provide feedback on program improvements
    • Ensure seamless delivery of programs
    • Address participant concerns
    • Create and coordinate all Media images as directed by Program Officers
    • Capture progress tracking and evaluations
    • Attend required Orientations (virtual)

    Hours: 6 – 8 hours/daily during on-Snow 2-4-day Programs. For example, with two volunteers for the Level 1 Alpine/Snowboard Level I Certification (a 4 day program), you can switch off and work 2 days minimum or all 4 days.

    End of Season Reporting: Program review and improvement recommendations

    In your cover letter answer the question: Why do you want to volunteer for Women of Winter and how our mission resonates with you? A resume is not required.

    This position is a preferred local position. You don't have to live in Big Sky. Bozeman or surrounding areas are great too! If you are traveling in for the Women of Winter Program from out of state, Lodging and Transportation will be on your own. Lift tickets and meals are included during the on-snow portion of the event. Coordinators are also invited to attend all after hours events during the Program days.
