    Description

    Organization: Elite Hospice and Palliative Care

    Location: Houston, Tx + surrounding areas (Cypress, Spring, Katy, Sugar Land, Pearland, The Woodlands (in-person)

    Type: Volunteer | Commitment: Flexible/Weekends/Weekdays | Age: 18+

    We are currently seeking a compassionate Spanish-speaking volunteer to provide companionship and support to hospice patients.

    Duties:

    • Visit patients at home or in care facilities
    • Provide companionship: talk, read, or simply be present
    • Offer emotional support (no hands-on care)
    • Log brief visit notes (training provided)
    • Helping bridge communication for Spanish-speaking patients and families

    Requirements:

    • Age 18+
    • Empathetic, reliable, and a good listener
    • Comfortable with end-of-life care
    • Must complete a background check and free volunteer training
