CALLING ALL VETERANS: Volunteer Veterans for Veterans On Hospice!

Gentiva Hospice Tucson is seeking compassionate Veterans in the City of Tucson to volunteer and provide companionship to our Veteran patients. The presence of a fellow Veteran can offer meaningful comfort and understanding, fostering a sense of connection that is vital to the well-being of those in hospice care. We are dedicated to expanding our Veteran to Veteran Companionship Program, and we invite you to be a part of this impactful initiative.

This Gentiva Hospice branch serves patients across the North, East, South, and West Tucson metro areas.

We provide all the training you will need to feel confident in your role as a volunteer. After the application process and training, most volunteers are assigned to one or two patients and make weekly visits with them. Volunteers can visit at a time convenient for them and the family they serve.

Gentiva Hospice is a leader in the field of hospice care and has been serving Pima County for more than 30 years. We have an active, growing volunteer program, and we hope you will join us.
