We are not just for people with military backgrounds. We are for everyone! If you have an interest in education, leadership, emergency services, aerospace, nonprofits, kids, or adults, we may be for you. If you want to serve on a highly effective team, that is what we are building. If you have integrity, a desire to strive for excellence, and are willing to respect others, we ARE for you.

We have a variety of positions and needs to fill, but for 2026-2027, we are giving special attention to our search for people with a background in nonprofits. Have you put on a fundraiser? Have you solicited donations from local businesses? Have you managed a team of ambitious parents? Do you know a thing or two about how a finance committee is typically run?

Are you a photographer who loves teaching the craft? Are you someone who values record-keeping and gets enjoyment out of creating a historical document to immortalize an organization's efforts? What about a person who prides themselves on being organized, who can manage an inventory, reorders, and a fundraising store?

Are you a military officer who is looking to help the next generation succeed in their own leadership career?

Or are you an educator in STEM? Cyber Patriot projects, remote-controlled planes, Astronomy, medical response?

If you answered yes to just one of these questions, you should check us out. Civil Air Patrol is a hidden gem of an organization. We not only teach the cadets (12-21 years of age), but we also hone our own skills throughout our CAP Careers.
