    Description

    Every person has a gift. Our volunteer coordinators will help you find that special something that makes your care truly special, and then match your talents with opportunities in your area.

    Are you a Veteran looking for a way to give back? There is no minimum time commitment; we will work with your schedule.

    Gentiva Hospice (formerly, Kindred Hospice) is currently seeking Veteran volunteers to visit terminally ill, Veteran hospice patients all over the Omaha area including Bellevue, Plattsmouth, Ashland, Lincoln, Fremont and surrounding areas. We are a Level Three hospice Partner with the national We Honor Veterans program and have extensive training on providing specialized care to Veterans and their loved ones. We would love to have Veteran volunteers to assist us with pinning ceremonies and other events we organize to honor those who have served.

    Hospice volunteers are people with a giving heart and compassion so if this sounds like you; we'd love to have you as part of our team! Orientation and training provided! Come make a difference!
