    About the Role

The Nutrition Clarity Foundation is seeking passionate educators to facilitate community-based food literacy programming through our partnership with the Nashville Public Library.

Our programs help individuals and families better understand food labels, ingredient lists, grocery shopping, and everyday food decisions through engaging, practical, and interactive learning experiences.

Facilitators are provided with curriculum materials, discussion guides, and educational resources. The primary role is to facilitate learning, encourage discussion, and create an engaging experience for participants rather than develop curriculum from scratch.

    • Facilitate community food literacy sessions
    • Lead discussions around food labels, ingredients, and grocery shopping
    • Guide interactive learning activities and product comparison exercises
    • Create an engaging and welcoming learning environment
    • Support participant questions while remaining within an educational (non-clinical) scope
    • Collaborate with the Nutrition Clarity Foundation team to deliver high-quality community programming

    Preferred Qualifications

We welcome applicants with backgrounds in:

    • Registered Dietetics (RDN)
    • Public Health (MPH or related field)
    • Community Health Education
    • Nutrition
    • Health Education
    • Health Promotion
    • Other related food or health disciplines

Experience facilitating educational workshops or community programs is preferred but not required.

    Important Information

This role is educational in nature and does not involve providing individualized nutrition counseling or medical advice.

Programming is designed to be practical, accessible, and welcoming for community audiences.
