    Legal Counsel for TNR Non Profit

    Feral Cat TNR Oriented Attorney

    Whiskers Rescue, Inc. is seeking a New Jersey based volunteer attorney who has interest in animal welfare- specifically TNR. Our ideal candidate is familiar with looking up and interpreting various municipal ordinances, being able to identify when they conflict with New Jersey state law and is comfortable drafting proposed changes and new ordinances. Additionally, they should be comfortable with advocating for or against proposed state legislation— specifically pertaining to issues regarding TNR, feral/community cats and issues relating to mandating animal control comply with existing state law regarding enforcement issues.

    Requirements:

    • must be barred in the state of New Jersey or have reciprocity to practice law therein
