    Description

    Social Media & Storytelling Support

    About Moving Health

Moving Health strengthens rural health systems by ensuring that patients in last-mile communities can reach life-saving care when it matters most. We design and manufacture low-cost ambulances locally in Ghana and work alongside midwives, community health workers, and local leaders to build emergency transport systems tailored to rural realities.

Our work has improved access to care for over 230,000 people across rural Ghana, reducing referral times and helping ensure that pregnant women and emergency patients can reach care safely and on time.

    Role Overview

We are looking for a Social Media & Storytelling Volunteer to help bring our work to life online. This role is perfect for someone who is excited about global health, social impact, and using storytelling to highlight real-world impact.

You’ll help translate what’s happening on the ground in Ghana into compelling, thoughtful content across our social channels.

    What You’ll Do

    • Create and schedule social media content (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Turn field updates, photos, and data into engaging posts
    • Help develop simple content series (e.g., “Day in the Life,” impact highlights, team features)
    • Support light content planning and posting cadence
    • Collaborate with our team to ensure stories are accurate and aligned with our work

    What We’re Looking For

    • Strong writing and storytelling skills
    • Interest in global health, social impact, or international development
    • Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn preferred)
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative
    • Basic design skills (Canva, etc.)

    What You’ll Get

    • Hands-on experience working with a growing global health organization
    • Opportunity to shape how an organization tells its story
    • Exposure to real-world health system innovation and international work
    • A chance to contribute to meaningful, mission-driven impact
