    About The Culture Collective

    The Culture Collective is a community-based nonprofit initiative serving communities throughout Miami-Dade County. Our mission is to strengthen communities by creating opportunities for connection, empowerment, wellness, and cultural engagement through educational programming, volunteerism, partnerships, and community initiatives.

    About Culture Conversations

    Culture Conversations is our weekly virtual discussion series designed to educate, empower, and connect the community through meaningful conversations on topics such as mental health, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, health and wellness, parenting, leadership, civic engagement, technology, and more.

    We are seeking a Volunteer Program Coordinator to oversee the planning and coordination of this growing program.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate weekly virtual Culture Conversations
    • Recruit and schedule guest speakers and moderators
    • Develop and maintain the annual programming calendar
    • Coordinate Zoom meetings and virtual session logistics
    • Manage participant registration and attendance
    • Maintain speaker records and program documentation
    • Work with organization leadership to expand the program
    • Help identify future discussion topics and community partnerships

    Qualifications

    • Strong organizational and communication skills
    • Passion for community engagement
    • Comfortable using Zoom and other virtual collaboration tools
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
    • Experience coordinating programs or events is preferred but not required

    Time Commitment

    Approximately 5-10 hours per week with a flexible schedule.
