    Description

Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service at George Washington Carver Farms

earthday365 is partnering with Ujima for a morning of garden work and clean-up at their farm, George Washington Carver Farms. Join us in beautifying this vital local resource that’s tackling the issues of food apartheid and environmental racism head-on! We’ll be mulching fruit trees, starting seedlings indoors, cleaning up around the property, and organizing the office building.

Please dress for the weather. Tools and work gloves will be provided. We will postpone or cancel only in the event of dangerous weather conditions, otherwise this is a rain or shine event. We will meet at 3714 Penrose St.

There will be snacks and drinks for everyone!
