Description
Patient volunteers provide companionship and emotional support to individuals on hospice. Visits may include reading, playing games, sharing stories, listening to music, or simply being a comforting presence.
This role is about bringing dignity, peace, and connection to patients and families during an important chapter of life.
Requirements:
- Compassionate, dependable, and respectiful of all backgrounds
- Completion of volunteer orientation, verifications, and training (all provided by Bristol Hospice)
- Must be at least 18 years old and comfortable visiting patients in their own homes or care facilities
