    Role Summary

    Working directly with the Marketing Director, the Marketing Strategist will drive the development and execution of innovative marketing campaigns that increase engagement, visibility, and donor contributions for the organisation. The Strategist will focus on turning marketing initiatives into measurable fundraising outcomes while ensuring all communications are aligned with the organisation’s mission and brand identity.

    Role Responsibilities

    Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to set goals, track performance, and refine campaign strategies and the following:

    • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that convert awareness campaigns into donations and supporter engagement.
    • Oversee content creation, ensuring social media, blogs, newsletters, and digital campaigns are compelling, mission-driven, and optimized for impact.
    • Analyze marketing performance metrics, providing actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness and donor conversion rates.
    • Ensure brand consistency and alignment in all messaging across platforms and campaigns.
    • Identify opportunities to grow the organization’s digital presence and expand audience reach.
    • Provide guidance and mentorship to marketing team members to ensure high-quality, aligned campaign execution.
    • Collaborate with fundraising and program teams to create campaigns that support specific projects, initiatives, and donor journeys.
    • Develop strategies to grow long-term donor relationships, including segmented marketing, nurturing campaigns, and retention-focused initiatives.
    • Ensure all campaigns comply with organizational policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards
    • Stay up-to-date with marketing trends and tools to innovate approaches that drive donations and supporter engagement.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in digital marketing, campaign strategy, or fundraising marketing.
    • Strong understanding of donor engagement strategies and conversion-focused campaigns.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and translate insights into action.
    • Experience with social media, email marketing, and content management platforms.
    • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
