At Thulani Senior German Shepherd Rescue, we believe every dog deserves a second chance, and as a Dog Evaluator, you will be the key to making that happen. This critical role is the first step in transforming the lives of senior German Shepherds, ensuring their safety, care, and ultimate placement into loving homes. If you’re ready to step into a role that combines action, advocacy, and heart, we want you on our team.
What You'll Do:
- Be the first point of contact for senior German Shepherds entering the rescue.
- Conduct thorough, compassionate evaluations using trusted and approved methods to ensure dogs are a good fit for our program.
- Prioritize the most urgent cases and create a customized intake plan for approved dogs.
- A passion for senior dogs and animal welfare.
- The ability to network and build relationships.
- Strong prioritization skills to focus on the most urgent and in-need dogs.
- The willingness to travel to Silicon Valley animal shelters.
