The volunteer Event Photographer/Videographer Coordinator will plan approved visual coverage, coordinate consent and capture, and organize secure delivery for virtual and optional Seattle-based events.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop approved shot lists, schedules, interview prompts, accessibility needs, and capture plans
    • Coordinate photographers, videographers, virtual recordings, file handoffs, and backup coverage
    • Verify participant, speaker, location, music, artwork, and brand permissions before use
    • Avoid photographing, recording, naming, or tagging anyone without documented authorization
    • Capture respectful event context without exposing donor conversations, documents, screens, or private details
    • Organize files with accurate metadata, consent status, ownership, and usage restrictions
    • Create or coordinate captions, transcripts, alt text, and accessible versions
    • Transfer files only through approved systems and retain them according to policy
    • Never publish, license, or repurpose media without content-owner approval

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in event photography, videography, production coordination, digital asset management, editing, or nonprofit storytelling
    • Strong composition, audio, lighting, file organization, consent, and professional communication
    • Familiarity with releases, copyright, accessibility, donor privacy, and virtual recordings
    • At least 21 years old and willing to complete screening
    • Portfolio or work samples are helpful

This is a primarily remote planning and post-production role available within the United States; optional Seattle capture assignments may be coordinated separately. Expect approximately 3–8 hours per event.
