Description
Help Believe in Me document Legacy Lounge donor-education events with respectful, accessible photography and video that supports stewardship and community awareness.
The volunteer Event Photographer/Videographer Coordinator will plan approved visual coverage, coordinate consent and capture, and organize secure delivery for virtual and optional Seattle-based events.
Responsibilities:
- Develop approved shot lists, schedules, interview prompts, accessibility needs, and capture plans
- Coordinate photographers, videographers, virtual recordings, file handoffs, and backup coverage
- Verify participant, speaker, location, music, artwork, and brand permissions before use
- Avoid photographing, recording, naming, or tagging anyone without documented authorization
- Capture respectful event context without exposing donor conversations, documents, screens, or private details
- Organize files with accurate metadata, consent status, ownership, and usage restrictions
- Create or coordinate captions, transcripts, alt text, and accessible versions
- Transfer files only through approved systems and retain them according to policy
- Never publish, license, or repurpose media without content-owner approval
Qualifications:
- Experience in event photography, videography, production coordination, digital asset management, editing, or nonprofit storytelling
- Strong composition, audio, lighting, file organization, consent, and professional communication
- Familiarity with releases, copyright, accessibility, donor privacy, and virtual recordings
- At least 21 years old and willing to complete screening
- Portfolio or work samples are helpful
This is a primarily remote planning and post-production role available within the United States; optional Seattle capture assignments may be coordinated separately. Expect approximately 3–8 hours per event.
