Veteran Hospice Volunteer

Geisinger Hospice is a Level 5 We Honor Veterans organization, looking for veterans to provide companionship visits and/or honor pinning ceremonies to our veteran patients on hospice services. We honor those brave men and women who sacrificed to serve our country, and that special treatment does not stop with hospice. When veterans are admitted to hospice, we do our best to pair them with a veteran volunteer. This volunteering opportunity is on your schedule. How and when you volunteer is up to you. You may choose to provide patient visits, or you may elect to attend veteran pinning ceremonies in which the veteran on hospice services is honored for their service. Veterans deserve the very best Geisinger Hospice has to offer, and that is why your specialized services are needed.
