    Social Media Junkie for HIV+ brain cancer marathon runner

    HIV+ brain cancer survivor, marathon runner, age 73-74 will run 4 marathons in 2026. No one else in the world runs marathons with both illnesses

    Are you a social media junkie? Do you tweet and use Facebook every day, all day? Is building social communities so ingrained in you just can't stop?

    Do you take pride in your image and customer satisfaction excellence and fancy yourself an entrepreneur? Do you understand the difference between a "brochure website," a "publication"and why feeds are important?

    If you answered YES without blinking an eye, then this may be a great match for you. We're an upbeat motivated social media guru with experience and fanatical passion for blogging.

    The ideal candidate will join our internal marketing team and contribute on a daily basis.

    Our Social Media Intern will oversee and contribute recurrent content, research and information to holistically support our followers and recruit active new donors/followers.

    • Willing and eager to learn and gain valuable real-world experience.
    • Excels at research, possesses excellent writing skills and the ability to crank editorial and technical writing.
    • Has experience or training in advertising, PR, online marketing or similar field.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
    • Love of blogging and use of Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn etc.
    • Understands the power of feed marketing.
    • Demonstrated creativity and documented immersion in social media (send us your links, we'd love to read your stuff!)
    • Experience sourcing and managing content development and publishing.
    • Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, and showcase your creativity!
    • Discretion to identify threats and opportunities in user generated content.
    • Good understanding of social media universe including: YouTube, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Digg, Reddit, Flickr, Forums, Twitter, Wikis, blogs, etc...
