Description
The Royal Scroll is a small, growing nonprofit arts organization that brings storybook-style character experiences, readings, and performances to children and families across Arizona.
We are currently looking for performers who enjoy working with kids, storytelling, and imaginative play. This is a low-commitment, flexible volunteer opportunity; perfect for theatre lovers, dancers, cosplayers, character performers, or anyone who loves performance and creativity.
What you’ll do:
– Portray original storybook-style characters at community events
– Interact with children through storytelling, conversation, and play
– Work alongside a supportive creative team, focused on creating magic for underserved communities
Important details:
– No auditions required to start
– No minimum hours or long-term commitment
– Training and guidance provided
– Costumes provided or collaboratively sourced
– Great experience for resumes, portfolios, and performer development
