    Description

    SAT Prep Support

    Heart of Los Angeles – Bridges Program

    Join Heart of Los Angeles’ Bridges team as we launch our upcoming Saturday SAT Prep Program! We are seeking 1–2 committed volunteers to support high school students as they prepare for the March SAT Exam.

    This is a great opportunity for volunteers who enjoy academic support, mentoring, and helping students build confidence during an important milestone.

    Program Details

    • Dates: Saturdays, February 7 – March 7
    • Time: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
    • Format: In-person
    • Students Served: Approximately 15–20 high school students

    What You’ll Do

    • Support students using our structured SAT curriculum
    • Provide guidance with Reading and Math practice
    • Work with students individually and in small groups
    • Encourage confidence, consistency, and effective test-taking strategies

    Ideal Volunteers

    • Comfortable supporting high school–level Reading and/or Math
    • Reliable and able to commit to Saturday sessions
    • Encouraging, patient, and student-centered
