Description
Basic volunteer qualifications involved with this assignment:
- Vacuum the store. Our store is 10,000 square feet, and we currently only have two volunteers who vacuum once a week. We're looking for people willing to come in 8am-10am to vacuum a section of the store so that it can be maintained all week.
- Dust merchandise shelves and cases. If you notice an empty shelf, take a moment to dust it before new merchandise is put out. Notice and attend to neglected fixtures, messes on floors, or fingerprints on glass.
- Return merchandise to shelves. Sometimes customers mislay items that they have decided not to purchase. The cleaning volunteer should have an eye for merchandising or neatness and be able to return items to where they belong.
- Ability to clean, detail-oriented, positive attitude, diligence, flexibility
Who will be served by this assignment? Customers of the Discovery Shop and volunteers who work in the space
