    Description

    Do you love gardening and want to improve community access to fresh produce?

    The Phoenix Food Hub Hydroponics Garden is looking for volunteers to help this garden thrive and grow food for our community! Hydroponics—or aerogardening—is a soilless, low maintenance and user-friendly growing technique. Volunteers will help to support the garden so food grown can be donated towards cooking classes in the Phoenix Food Hub, or directly to community members in need of fresh produce.

    Volunteer Gardeners will handle the following:

    • Garden Maintenance, hydroponic system upkeep
    • Harvesting
    • Help with garden set up
    • Harvesting ripe produce from the garden and preparing it for storage or distribution
    • Sorting through harvested produce to maintain freshness

    Time commitment- As needed, no more than 1-2 hours per week.

    Training and assistance available.
