Assist a Veteran home patient as a Light Housekeeping Volunteer- St. Louis, MO 63120

VITAS Healthcare is looking for kind and caring people as volunteers to help terminally ill patients and their families in light housekeeping assistance. Volunteers can support patients and families by offering to do light dusting, vacuuming, making the bed, washing dishes, meal preparation, doing a load of laundry or grocery shopping. We are looking for a volunteer to help provide light housekeeping and homemaker support to a veteran patient residing in their own home in St. Louis, MO 63120.

These simple tasks can become difficult for a patient and family at the end of life and providing assistance at this crucial time can make a real difference. VITAS Volunteer Orientation is provided free of charge to help you learn the skills required to be an outstanding hospice volunteer. The days and times for volunteering are flexible according to your availability. VITAS appreciates any time you are able to contribute for volunteering.
