Description
The Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University Cooperative Extension is hosting a series of educational events in the community gardens located in the City of West Palm Beach. they are seeking few helpers from the community to help keep this endeavor operating smoothly.
Join us for a series of Garden Work Days at the FAMU/City of West Palm Beach community gardens! We’re looking for helping hands to weed, plant, mulch, prune, harvest and beautify the space..... It’s a great way to learn, give back, and enjoy the outdoors while making a difference in your community.
These Garden days will take place on:
Tuesdays 9 AM - 11 AM at Coleman park
Thursday 2 PM - 4 PM at Pleasant City
what you need to volunteer:
No gardening experience required
Volunteers will be provided work gloves and must wear close toed shoes with with ankle support. this means no slides, flip flops, or crocs

the garden is located across the street from the Pleasant City Youth Empowerment Center
