Infinity Artisan Pantry – Volunteer Baker

Infinity Artisan Pantry Cooperative is a Prince Jade nonprofit program dedicated to making sure no child or family ever misses their birthday due to financial hardship. We train community members in baking, food safety, and dessert preparation so they can help produce both premium cakes (which fund our programs) and pantry cakes (which are given free to families in need).

Responsibilities: • Assist with baking simple cakes, cupcakes, and desserts for community distribution • Help prepare premium cakes that support our nonprofit’s revenue engine • Follow safe kitchen procedures and maintain a clean workspace • Participate in basic training provided in your home if needed • Support birthday deliveries for families who request pantry cakes • Work cooperatively with other volunteers in a positive, community‑focused environment

Training Provided: • Prince Jade covers the cost of your food handler card • Optional in‑home baking training for volunteers who are new to baking • Guidance on kitchen safety, simple recipes, and cooperative baking methods

Qualifications: • No experience required beginners are welcome • Must be willing to learn basic baking steps • Must be comfortable working in a cooperative, community‑based program • Must be reliable and able to follow simple instructions

Additional Details: Volunteers receive a small 2% incentive for each premium cake they help produce. All profits from premium cakes directly fund pantry cakes for families who cannot afford a birthday celebration. This is a human‑powered cooperative focused on dignity, celebration, and community support.
