REPORTS TO: Volunteer Captain, Pride Committee Lead

COMMITMENT: Minimum 5 hours + 1 hour orientation

SUMMARY:

Festival Volunteers are essential to a successful, safe, welcoming, and meaningful experience for festival attendees. Volunteers sign up for a shift and are assigned a position on-site, ensuring critical positions are filled first.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Volunteers sign up for a date and time. At the festival, volunteers are deployed based on where they are needed the most. Volunteers may be asked to do any of the following:

• Providing directions and answering questions to festival attendees
• Selling tickets in the ticket office
• Scanning tickets at the gate
• Staffing beverage stations (register, pour, stock, etc.)
• Checking in volunteers
• Checking out/checking in equipment
• Checking in vendors
• Supporting backstage
• Other reasonable, safe tasks that are essential to the festival operations
