    One-time, in-person volunteer opportunity on Friday, November 13, 2026, at The Museum of Flight in Seattle. Volunteers will receive their shift time and assignment closer to the event. No previous experience required.

    Description

    Volunteer at the 2026 Type 1 United Founders Dinner

    Type 1 United is seeking enthusiastic and dependable volunteers to help make our 2026 Founders Dinner, Moments that Matter, a meaningful evening for our Type 1 Diabetes community.

    Held at Seattle’s Museum of Flight, the Founders Dinner brings together families, supporters, volunteers, community partners, and advocates to celebrate the connections and experiences that make a lasting difference for people living with Type 1 Diabetes.

    Proceeds from the evening help support Type 1 United programs, including Camp Leo and ConnecT1D programs serving children, adults, and families impacted by T1D.

    Volunteer Opportunities

    Volunteers may assist with:

    • Event setup and preparation
    • Guest welcome and check-in
    • Registration support
    • Silent and live auction support
    • Guest direction and general event assistance
    • Dinner and program logistics
    • Checkout and auction item distribution
    • Event breakdown and cleanup

    Specific assignments and volunteer schedules will be shared closer to the event.

    Who We're Looking For

    We're looking for volunteers who are friendly, reliable, organized, and comfortable helping in a busy event environment. No previous event experience is required.

    Whether you're personally connected to Type 1 Diabetes or simply looking for a meaningful way to support your community, we'd love to have you join us.

    Type 1 United brings together the legacies and communities of Camp Leo and ConnecT1D to create connection, education, and meaningful experiences for people impacted by Type 1 Diabetes.

    Our programs provide opportunities for children, adults, and families to build confidence, find community, and connect with others who understand life with T1D.
