    Description

    Our BIGGEST art event of the year, New York Edge’s annual spring showcase features student performances from over a dozen schools, as well as a student art gallery with over 100 artworks representing NYE Champions Club academic, sports and arts after-school programs. This exceptional performance highlights the talent, dedication, and hard work of the students and staff throughout the school year.

    Date: Thursday, June 4, 2026

    Location: NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, 566 LaGuardia Pl, New York, NY 10012

    Volunteer Shifts:

    8:30am - 1:00pm (Morning Shift)

    8:30am - 4:00pm (Day Shift)

    12:30pm - 4:30pm (Afternoon Shift)

    3:30pm - 10:30pm (Evening Shift)

    Event Volunteer tasks may include:

    • Setting up the student art gallery space
    • Greeting sites and acting as point of contact between NewYork Edge staff and teachers/students
    • Assisting students to and from stage area, helping keep backstage quiet and calm
    • Organizing and distributing lunch
    • Helping with event breakdown and clean up
