    Description

    Hospice Patient Visitor (Philadelphia County)

This opportunity is for care facilities in Philadelphia County

Becoming a Hospice Patient Visitor Volunteer with Caring Hospice Services is a wonderful way to extend care, kindness, and presence to those arriving at the end of their life journey and their families. Volunteers offer compassionate care through conversation with patients, active listening, music, reading, holding a patients hand, or simply offering the gift of their presence to someone. This volunteer opportunity offers flexibility in the hours you choose to work, as well as a supportive and amazing team of hospice staff to work alongside.

All applicants will need to complete a background clearance check as well as an onboarding process to ensure the safety of patients and volunteers. Even if you have never volunteered with hospice, don't worry! We will provide training and support to help you fulfill your role as a patient visitor.
