Advisory Board Member – Bay Area Real Estate Career Pathways Initiative

The Bay Area Real Estate Career Pathways Initiative is seeking passionate, community-minded leaders and industry professionals to join our Advisory Board.

As a community-focused initiative, our mission is to expand access to meaningful careers across the real estate, mortgage, housing, and financial sectors for local youth, career changers, and underrepresented community members across the San Francisco Bay Area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Guidance: Provide insights and expertise to guide program development, community outreach, and industry partnerships.
• Ambassadorship: Represent the initiative within your network to foster relationships with industry leaders, educational institutions, and community organizations.
• Advancement & Growth: Help identify funding, sponsorship, and mentorship opportunities to support long-term sustainability.
• Meeting Participation: Attend quarterly advisory board meetings (virtual/hybrid) and contribute to focused sub-committees as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience or strong interest in residential/commercial real estate, mortgage lending, housing development, urban planning, or financial services.
• Passion for youth development, educational equity, and workforce diversification.
• Strong local connections within the Bay Area community, industry groups, or educational networks.
• Commitment to dedicating 2–4 hours per month to advisory efforts.
