    Description

    Volunteer Director of Development (Remote - United States)

    About Beyond Nations:

    Beyond Nations is a U.S.-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving vulnerable children, widows, and families in Uganda through education, economic empowerment, and community development programs. We currently support approximately 270 children and operate community programs that seek to break the cycle of poverty.

    Position Summary:

    We are seeking a passionate U.S.-based volunteer to serve as our Volunteer Director of Development and help us build a sustainable donor network in the United States.

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist in developing fundraising strategies.
    • Help identify potential donors and supporters.
    • Create and manage fundraising campaigns.
    • Help develop a monthly donor program.
    • Assist with donor communications and stewardship.
    • Support partnership development with churches and community organizations.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in fundraising, nonprofit development, sales, marketing, or relationship building.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Passion for international development and child welfare.

    Location Requirement:

    Preference will be given to volunteers residing in the United States due to the relationship-building and fundraising nature of this role.
