Director of Educational Products & Manufacturing

    (Publishing & Product Division Head)

    The Donovan’s Venom

Remote | Executive Leadership | Volunteer

We’re Building — And It Has to Be Real

    The Donovan’s Venom is expanding.

    Not just programs.

    Not just ideas.

    Products.

    Books.

    Curriculum.

    Educational tools.

Experiences people can hold, use, and learn from.

We are seeking a Director of Educational Products & Manufacturing to lead the creation, production, and distribution of everything we put into the world.

Because impact isn’t just what we say.

It’s what we build — and how far it reaches.

    The Role

This is the leader responsible for turning vision into tangible educational products at scale.

From concept → creation → production → distribution — you own the full lifecycle.

You are not just managing content.

You are building a product ecosystem.

This role operates at both a strategic and operational level, ensuring our products are:

    • High quality
    • Scalable
    • Aligned with our mission
    • Designed for real-world use

    What You’ll Own

    Product Strategy & Portfolio Development

    • Define and lead the educational product portfolio:
      • Books, workbooks, curriculum
      • Educational tools and games
      • Branded materials and merchandise

      • Cost efficiency
      • Reliable timelines

    Inventory & Fulfillment Systems

    • Design systems for:
      • Product tracking
      • Inventory management
      • Distribution readiness
    • Build scalable fulfillment processes for programs and partners

    Distribution & Channel Development

    • Develop distribution pipelines:
      • Schools and education partners
      • Retail and wholesale channels
      • Online platforms

    Ecosystem Integration

    • Align products with:

      • Revenue opportunities
    • Contribute to sustainability and growth

    Production Planning & Execution

    • Build and manage production calendars
    • Align timelines across:
      • Content

    • Track:
      • Product usage
      • Distribution reach
      • Production efficiency

    • Thinks in products, systems, and scale
    • Can turn ideas into real, usable outputs
    • Understands both creation and operations
    • Can build processes where none exist
    • Leads with ownership, structure, and execution

    • Experience managing products from concept → distribution
    • Strong understanding of:
      • Product strategy
