    Mission Statement

The mission of Mental Health and Recovery Counseling Education and Training (MHRCET) is to empower underserved youth by providing supportive services, fostering community engagement, and creating equitable opportunities. We aim to break down systemic barriers that limit access to education, mental health resources, and pathways to success, ensuring every young person has the tools, support, and opportunities needed to reach their full potential.

    About Us

We are not just service providers but partners in healing, growth, and transformation. We envision a future where every young person is seen, supported, and equipped to overcome challenges and drive meaningful change while growing into leaders who make a lasting impact in their communities and beyond.

    About the Role

We are currently looking for a Social Media & Marketing Assistant to help amplify our mission across online platforms. Are you someone who loves creating engaging content, telling meaningful stories, and connecting with communities online? As a remote nonprofit, we rely on dedicated volunteers who want to use their skills to uplift our work, expand our reach, and inspire positive change.

    What You’ll Do

    • Support content creation for social media (graphics, posts, stories, captions)
    • Help manage and schedule posts across platforms
    • Assist with newsletters, email updates, and digital outreach
    • Track engagement and help brainstorm ways to grow our reach
    • Collaborate with staff to ensure messaging is clear, consistent, and mission‑aligned

    What We’re Looking For

    • Comfortable with social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
    • Basic knowledge of Canva or other design tools (or willingness to learn)
    • Strong writing, creativity, and communication skills
    • Organized, reliable, and excited to support a community‑focused mission

    Why Volunteer With Us?

    • 100% remote — volunteer from anywhere
    • Flexible schedule
    • Build real‑world marketing and digital‑media experience
    • Support meaningful work that uplifts our community

    Time Commitment

Flexible scheduling available. Volunteers may contribute during regular business hours, program hours, or at times that work best with their schedule, with all responsibilities carried out in a fully remote environment.
