Description
We are looking for volunteers willing to provide retail support and customer service assistance for our Saint Therese of Oxbow Lake gift shop. Gift shops in our senior residence, enhance the daily lives of residents, visitors, staff and volunteers by providing onsite shopping and social opportunities. Our gift shop sales provide support for Saint Therese programs and services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service, ensure payment procedures.
- Assist with stocking of merchandises.
- Assist with clean up and management of inventory.
Abilities required:
- Have an interest in retail sales.
- Enjoy talking with and interacting with residents
- Patience with shoppers
- Be able to assist residents in wheelchairs or walkers
- Be able to understand the vulnerable adult act and maintain confidentially and HIPAA guidelines.
- Can follow health and safety instructions.
