Volunteer Opportunity: Google Ads (Ad Grants) Specialist – Remote

This is a flexible, fully remote volunteer opportunity that you can complete from home and integrate into your existing schedule.

The Norwalk Seaport Association has been awarded a Google Ad Grant, providing up to $10,000 per month in in-kind advertising. We are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive volunteer to help us fully leverage this resource by setting up, optimizing, and managing our Google Ads campaigns.

This role is ideal for someone with experience in Google Ads who wants to apply their skills to support a mission-driven nonprofit organization.

    What You’ll Do:

    • Set up and structure Google Ads campaigns in compliance with Google Ad Grant guidelines
    • Conduct keyword research and develop targeted ad groups
    • Write compelling ad copy designed to maximize click-through rates and conversions
    • Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven optimizations
    • Improve quality scores, ad relevance, and overall campaign effectiveness
    • Provide basic reporting and insights on performance metrics

    What We’re Looking For:

    • Experience with Google Ads (formerly Google AdWords)
    • Understanding of keyword strategy, bidding, and campaign structure
    • Ability to write high-performing ad copy
    • Familiarity with Google Ad Grant requirements (preferred but not required)
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret performance data

    Why This Matters:

This is a high-impact opportunity to make a meaningful difference. Your work will directly increase awareness of the Norwalk Seaport Association’s programs, events, and educational initiatives—helping us reach a broader audience and strengthen our mission.

Your expertise will play a critical role in transforming available grant funding into real visibility, engagement, and community impact.
