Licensed Social Worker-Paid Contractor Position

The Licensed Contract Social Worker will provide contracted mental health and social-emotional support services to children and teens participating in the program. The contractor will provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, case management support, and referrals to community resources. The Licensed Contract Social Worker will collaborate with program staff and families to support participant well-being, emotional development, and overall success. The contractor will provide services during after-school program hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family counseling services for youth participants.
• Conduct assessments and develop service plans based on participant needs.
• Support students in building healthy coping strategies, emotional regulation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support when needed.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation in accordance with professional and licensing standards.
• Collaborate with program staff, caregivers, schools, and community partners to coordinate supportive services.
• Provide referrals to community agencies and outside support services as appropriate.
• Facilitate social-emotional learning activities, wellness workshops, and support groups.
• Participate in scheduled meetings, case consultations, and program coordination activities as requested.
• Comply with all organizational policies, ethical standards, and state licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• • Current and active state licensure as an LCSW, LMSW, or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with youth, adolescents, and families preferred.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, social-emotional development, and community resources.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with staff and families.
  • Experience in nonprofit, school-based, after-school, or community settings preferred.

Must maintain professional liability insurance if required by state or organizational policy
