The Chief Creative Officer (CCO) is a senior executive responsible for defining, governing, and scaling the organization’s creative vision, brand identity, and user experience ecosystem.
This role leads the end-to-end creative function, ensuring that all visual, digital, and experiential outputs are cohesive, accessible, and aligned with The Donovan’s Venom’s mission to expand equitable access to fine arts and music education. The CCO operates at both a strategic and executional level—translating mission into meaningful, high-impact creative experiences across all platforms.

Volunteer Commitment Expectations
- Estimated Commitment: 10–20 hours per week
- Availability: Flexible (weekdays, evenings, weekends as needed)
- Active participation in executive leadership and strategic planning sessions required
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, UX/UI, Digital Media, Creative Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of progressive experience in creative, UX/UI, or product design
- 3+ years in a leadership or strategic creative role
- Demonstrated expertise in user-centered design, interaction design, and accessibility standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in nonprofit, education, or mission-driven organizations
- Proven success leading remote or global creative teams
- Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design strategy and execution
- Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping platforms
