    Grant Writing Internship (Remote/Hybrid)

    Join the EcoServants Grant Writing Internship and develop real-world skills while directly supporting environmental action. This unpaid, remote/hybrid opportunity is guided by expert grant writers and gives you hands-on experience identifying and applying for funding through real grant opportunities.

    You’ll learn how to use Instrumentl, a leading nonprofit grant research tool, to find funders aligned with our mission. Interns receive training in writing persuasive narratives, building budgets, and understanding funder priorities-while actively helping EcoServants secure funding for cleanups, restoration, and education programs.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Use Instrumentl to research and evaluate funders

    • Analyze RFPs and align proposals with funder priorities

    • Write letters of inquiry and full-length proposals

    • Help build itemized grant budgets with justification

    • Collaborate with expert grant writers during biweekly live sessions

    What You’ll Learn:

    • Grant prospecting and strategy using Instrumentl

    • Narrative development and storytelling for proposals

    • Budget creation and cost justification

    • Proposal structuring and funder alignment techniques
