Role Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and mission-driven Human Resources Specialist to lead our recruitment and selection processes. Working closely with leadership, this fractional role will ensure we attract, interview, and onboard top-tier talent who align with our vision, all while operating with a highly flexible time commitment.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment and talent acquisition
• Maintaining Idealist and volunteer postings
• Candidate screening and interview scheduling
• Onboarding and offboarding coordination
• Volunteer and intern lifecycle management
• HR documentation and compliance tracking
• Staff engagement and retention support
• Supporting the Executive Director with people operations

Qualifications

• Proven experience in recruitment, human resources, or nonprofit program coordination.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Passion for mission-driven work and an understanding of the nonprofit sector.
• Ability to manage multiple projects independently with extreme flexibility.

Commitment

• Time Commitment: Approximately 4-6 hours per week.
