Role Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and mission-driven Human Resources Specialist to lead our recruitment and selection processes. Working closely with leadership, this fractional role will ensure we attract, interview, and onboard top-tier talent who align with our vision, all while operating with a highly flexible time commitment.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and talent acquisition
- Maintaining Idealist and volunteer postings
- Candidate screening and interview scheduling
- Onboarding and offboarding coordination
- Volunteer and intern lifecycle management
- HR documentation and compliance tracking
- Staff engagement and retention support
- Supporting the Executive Director with people operations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in recruitment, human resources, or nonprofit program coordination.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Passion for mission-driven work and an understanding of the nonprofit sector.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently with extreme flexibility.
Commitment
- Time Commitment: Approximately 4-6 hours per week.
