Plate & Pathways is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to increasing food access, strengthening families, and building sustainable pathways to long-term stability.
Our intent is to creating a welcoming, educational space where community members can learn how to prepare simple, healthy, and affordable meals. Through our program's classes, we want to empower individuals, especially those who may be experiencing food insecurity or those have limited access to nutritious food and/or culinary resources, with practical skills they can use in their everyday lives. It’s not just about cooking, but about building confidence in the kitchen, encouraging healthier habits, and fostering a sense of community in an approachable, inclusive, and hands-on environment.
We’re looking for someone who has a genuine love for cooking, a solid understanding of healthy, budget-conscious recipes, and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds. Formal culinary training is not required, what matters most is relatability, patience, and a passion for teaching.
