    Description

Do you want to shape the future of HR in a European political movement? Are you passionate about people, creating inclusive communities, and supporting volunteers across cultures? Do you enjoy bringing structure to chaos and empowering others to thrive? Then join Volt Europa as an HR Team Member and help build the foundations of a movement that spans the continent.

Do you want to contribute to Europe's future?

Volt is a pan-European movement with over 30,000 members and volunteers across Europe. With more than 200 elected representatives in parliaments and councils, including 5 MEPs, we are working for a united, democratic, and forward-looking Europe.

Volt is an inclusive movement, we believe diversity and equity make us stronger. Your gender identity, ethnicity, religion, disability, sexual orientation, age, or background do not matter to us. What matters is your motivation to contribute. You are welcome here.

    What will you do?

As an HR Team Member, you’ll play a key role in supporting our volunteer network. Together with your teammates, you will:

    • Recruit and onboard new volunteers
    • Help create and maintain HR policies and internal structures
    • Support teams across Europe with HR guidance
    • Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment
    • Assist in building our HR e-learning materials
    • Work on improving volunteer retention and internal communications

We’re fully remote and flexible, you can shape your contribution depending on your schedule. Ideally, you’re able to commit 3–5 hours per week.

What skills or qualities do you bring?

No checklist is perfect, we care more about your mindset than ticking all boxes. That said, here’s what helps:

    • You’re approachable, diplomatic, and good with people
    • You enjoy bringing structure, solving problems, and making things work better
    • You’re fair and level-headed in conflict resolution
    • You’re organised and able to work independently
    • You care about inclusion and team wellbeing
    • Experience in HR, team leadership, or volunteer coordination is a plus

    What’s in it for you?

    • A chance to build HR systems for a movement across 30+ countries
    • Experience in people operations, recruitment, and digital collaboration
    • A truly international team and network
    • Flexibility and full ownership of your tasks
    • The satisfaction of helping others thrive
