Purpose: As a volunteer videographer, you will help the African American Diabetes Association
(AADA) in developing content about diabetes for our website and social media platforms. Your
work will help us educate the community and raise awareness about the disease, its prevention,
and treatments. (Person preferred in the EST Zone)
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with our team to develop ideas and strategies for diabetes-related videos.
- Film, edit, and produce high-quality videos for our website and social media platforms.
- Work with our team to ensure videos are informative, engaging, and meet our Nonprofit's
branding and messaging guidelines.
- Attend and document events, conferences, and other activities related to diabetes
prevention and management.
- Assist with post-production tasks, such as adding music, subtitles, and special effects to
videos.
- Assist in managing the Nonprofit's YouTube channel, upload and publish videos, and
optimize videos for SEO.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends, tools, and video production and editing
techniques.
Qualifications:
- Experience in videography, including filming, editing, and producing videos.
- Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or
similar.
- Familiarity with social media platforms like YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with a team.
- Passionate about diabetes prevention and management.
- Flexible schedule and willingness to attend events outside of regular business hours.
